Kabul Medical University Makes Ventilator

Kabul University of Medical Sciences (Abu Ali Ibn Sina) has succeeded in making a ventilator using the materials that are available in domestic markets in Afghanistan, the Ministry of Higher Education said Saturday.

The price of an artificial respiration device (ventilator) in the world market is about $30 thousand US dollars

The trained and responsible staff of Kabul University of Medical Sciences were able to make one by spending about 30 thousand Afghanis.

According to the university's officials, they can produce a ventilator every three days and serve the country's medical community.
