Coronavirus Program: COVID-19 Cases Reach 13,000 in Afghanistan

The Afghan Ministry of Public Health on Thursday reported 580 new positive cases of COVID-19 across the country over the past 24 hours, bringing the total known cases in Afghanistan to 13,036.

625 were reported in Kabul (322), Herat (139), Panjshir (27), Balkh (22), Farah (21), Paktia (20), Faryab (15) and Parwan.

Eight COVID-19 patients died in the past 24 hours. The total number of reported deaths from the coronavirus in Afghanistan is now 235.
