Simorgh Alborz football club defeated Oqaban Hindukush 5-0 in the fourth match of the 9th season of the Afghan Premier League (APL), which was held on Tuesday evening.

The win brought three points for Simorgh Alborz in the league standings.

The fifth match of the season between Toofan Harirod and Mawjhai Amu will be held on Wednesday at 3:30 pm

APL was launched eight years ago, and each season begins with regional selection tournaments in different zones of the country and culminates with eighteen national league matches in Kabul.

This year the league matches will continue until October 16.

Shaheen Asmayee, De Maiwand Atalan, Toofan Harirod, Simorgh Alborz, Mawjhai Amu, De Spinghar Bazan, De Abasin Sape, and Oqaban Hindukosh are the eight APL teams representing all 34 provinces of Afghanistan.

Last year, Toofan Harirod from the western zone won the league title. Toofan Harirod has won the title three times.
