ACB Announces Seven New Members

Afghanistan Cricket Board on Sunday announced seven members of the board, saying that the remaining three members will be assigned in near future.

The board members were confirmed in a decree signed by Prime Minister of the Islamic Emirate, the cricket board said.

The board members were introduced at a press conference by Azizullah Fazli, the newly appointed chairman of Afghanistan Cricket Board.

He named the new member as Sayed Jalal Karim, member of the high board, as well as Haji Mahbob, Obaidullah Sadrikhil, Abdul Rahman Alokozai, Hajji Niamatullah and Azizullah Fazli.

He said the technical and professional affairs of the board have resumed and that the board will soon hold a general meeting to determine the responsibilities of the executive officer.

This comes as the Afghanistan national cricket team is due to leave Kabul on Wednesday for UAE to prepare for the upcoming T20 World Cup.
