The Afghanistan Cricket Team was beaten by Pakistan in the ICC T20 World Cup match by five wickets.  

Afghanistan won the toss and elected to bat first.  

The Afghan team openers didn’t make a good start, but Mohammad Nabi and Gulbuddin Naib led the team to a total score of 147.  

The Afghan team won its first T20 World Cup match against Scotland.  

Afghanistan is in group B of the World Cup series.

Afghanistan will play against India, New Zealand and Papua New Guinea.
