The first match of a new football tournament was held in Kabul on Friday and Shaheen Asmayee and the De Abaseen Sapi played.
The Afghanistan Football Federation has said the new tournament is being held under the name of “Safe Tournament” and will last for 10 days.
In this match, Ashmayee beat Abaseen 3-0.
Mustafa Afshar, Sadiq Sadiqi and Samir Samandar scored the goals for Asmayee.
The federation said six teams from Afghanistan’s premier league used to play annually in the past and will attend this tournament.
Shaheen Asmayee, De Maiwand Atalan, Simorgh Alborz, De Abasin Sape, and Oqaban Hindukosh will play in this tournament.
In the Afghan Premier League, eight teams represented the 34 provinces of Afghanistan.
The directorate of the Physical Education and Sport Department said on Friday that it will continue supporting athletics in the country.
