The national futsal team played their first match of the Continental Futsal Championship in Thailand against Guatemala and defeated their opponent 5-4.

The Afghanistan futsal team will face Kuwait in their second match of this tournament tomorrow (Tuesday, September 3).

This five-team futsal competition, named the "Continental Cup," is being held in Bangkok among teams from Afghanistan, Thailand, Kuwait, New Zealand, and Guatemala.
