ACB Appoints Andy Moles As Director of Cricket

The Afghanistan Cricket Board, ACB, on Thursday announced the appointment of Andy Moles as director of cricket and chief selector.

According to ACB, Moles, who was the interim head coach of the team during the recently concluded tour of Bangladesh, is a Level-4 coach.

The ACB made the announcement on Twitter, saying Moles has a vast experience of 25 years in the sport.

On September 27, the board appointed former South African all-rounder Klusener as their new head coach.

Klusener has earlier worked as a bowling coach for the Indian Premier League, IPL, the franchise Mumbai Indians, consultant to the South African National Academy, batting coach for the South African Test team, head coach of the Dolphins franchise in South African domestic cricket, batting coach for Zimbabwe, and most recently as batting coach for South Africa’s T20I team, according to India’s ANI news agency.
