Afghan Cricketers to Face South Africa in U19 World Cup

Afghanistan’s U19 cricket team will face host South Africa on Friday in the first match of the U19 World Cup.
 
The International Cricket Council (ICC) tournament has contestants from 16 national under-19 teams.
 
The tournament is scheduled to run from January 17 to February 9, and 48 ODI matches will be played.
 
The Afghan team is in group D and will play against South Africa, Canada and UAE.
 
Afghanistan beat the UK by 21 in a warm-up match on Tuesday.
