Afghanistan To Face Ireland In ODI Match On Sunday

The National Cricket Team will enter the ground against Ireland on Sunday afternoon to play the first of two One Day International (ODI) matches as they are preparing for the 2019 ICC Cricket World Cup.   

The two teams will play their second ODI match on May 21. 

So far, Afghanistan and Ireland teams have played 25 ODI matches of which each team has won 12 matches and one match has ended in a draw.

After the ODI matches against Ireland, the Afghan squad will leave Ireland for the United Kingdom to play ODI matches against England and Pakistan ahead of the World Cup on May 24 and 27. 

Rashid Khan, Mohammad Nabi and Mujeeb Zadran have joined their team and will be part of the team in Sunday match.

Last week, Afghanistan played an ODI against Scotland and won the match by two runs.
