Afghanistan Participates In Asian Tenpin Bowling Championship

Afghanistan’s National Bowling Team is participating in the 25th Asian Tenpin Bowling Championship, which kicked off on Sunday in the Farwaniya Governorate of Kuwait.

A total of 228 athletes from 27 countries will participate in the championship, which goes until October 30.

A number of Kuwaiti and international sports figures, including Sheikh Talal Mohammad Al-Sabah, World Bowling President and President of the Asian Bowling Federation, participated in the opening ceremony.

Al-Sabah said that the gathering is organized with an aim to "restore Kuwait's leadership in all areas, including sports."

Afghanistan will train for the next two days and will begin competition on Wednesday.
