Afghanistan’s U20 National Futsal Team defeated Tajikistan 4-1 on Tuesday in the qualifying round of the 2019 AFC U20 Futsal Championship and for the first time qualified for the Asian nations’ next year tournament.

Afghanistan defeated host Turkmenistan 5-0 in their first match and lost their second match to Iran 4-2. 

The national team played well in paly-off round against Tajikistan on Tuesday and defeated the team 4-1.

Afghanistan, Iran, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan and Kyrgyzstan had participated in the qualifying round. 

From the mentioned teams, Afghanistan, Iran and Kyrgyzstan have qualified for the 2019 championship.
