The Mis Ainak Knights, with a victory against the Band-e-Amir Dragons on Friday in the final match of the Shpageeza Cricket League 2019, becomes the 6th-round champion of the league.
The Band-e-Amir Dragons, captained by Rashid Khan, lost the match by four wickets to Mis Ainak.
The sixth round of the Shpageeza league, which included six teams, lasted eleven days and all members of the Afghan National Cricket Team competed.
At the end of the competition, Karim Janet, from the Kabul Eagles, was named best player, and Najat Massoud, the country's fastest bowler, was named the best bowler of the tournament.
Noor Ali Zadran was named the best batsman, and Noor Ahmad was named the best young player of the tournament.
Last year, Band-e-Amir was the champion of the tournament.
The Shpageeza tournament was established in 2013 with six franchises, including players from the national team, from overseas, players from the ‘A’ team, and players from the under 19 team, as well as regional elite performers.
