National Cricket Training Camp Ends in Kabul

The national cricket training camp in Kabul, which lasted for the past one month, ended on Thursday.

Afghan Cricket Board officials said that this training camp was held for the national team to prepare for a strong presence in the Asian Cup and World Cup.

The country's cricketers are set to play five T20 games against Zimbabwe this month, based on a pre-determined schedule – but after the permission of the International Cricket Council (ICC).

According to the cricket officials, these games will also be held to prepare the Afghan national cricket team for the World Cup and the Asian Cup.

The national team players consider it very beneficial to hold training camps.

The training camp was held in Kabul after three months of quarantine.
