TAWDE KHABARE: Trump’s Remarks After Peace Deal Discussed

Following eighteen months of negotiations in Doha, the United States and the Taliban on Saturday officially signed a peace deal that will pave the way for the withdrawal of US forces from Afghanistan in exchange for a number of solid assurances by the Taliban to the US and its allies.

After the agreement was signed the US president said that if "bad things happen" that U.S. troops will go back to Afghanistan "with a force like nobody's ever seen."

"I really believe the Taliban wants to do something to show that we're not all wasting time," Trump said. "But if bad things happen, we'll go back to people know we'll go back and we'll go back so fast and we'll go back with a force, like nobody's ever seen."
