Reuters has reported that the Israeli military has issued an order to evacuate the Kamal Adwan Hospital in Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza.
The report states that this area has been the site of Israeli military operations since October.
Hussam Abu Safiya, the director of the hospital, said that the military ordered staff to evacuate the hospital and transfer patients and the injured to another hospital in the area.
Abu Safiya said the mission was "next to impossible" because staff did not have ambulances to move the patients.
Simultaneously, doctors reported that Israeli military strikes across the Gaza Strip have killed at least 17 Palestinians.
Among them, eight people, including children, were killed in an attack on the Musa Bin Nusayr School, which was being used as a shelter for displaced families in Gaza City.
The Israeli military stated in a press release that the attack targeted Hamas.
According to the military, Hamas was using a command center inside this school to plan and execute attacks against Israeli forces.
For nearly three months, the Israeli military has been conducting operations in the towns of Beit Lahiya, Beit Hanoun, and Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza. Palestinians claim that Israel is engaging in "ethnic cleansing" with these attacks.
Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) had previously stated that, during the first 12 months of the war in Gaza, 41 attacks were carried out against healthcare centers, aid convoys, and hospitals run by the organization.
The organization also reported that out of the 36 active hospitals in Gaza, only 17 are partially operational, and the state of healthcare services in the region is severely critical.
