Eight Killed In Pakistan Suicide Attack

At least eight people were killed and 44 injured in a suicide attack on a church on Quetta’s Zarghoon Road on Sunday afternoon, Geo News reported.
 
The report said that the police and rescue teams have reached the site of the explosion. The area has been cordoned off and an emergency situation was imposed in all hospitals across Quetta.
 
After the explosion was reported, an exchange of fire ensued between terrorists and security personnel, the news report said.
 
A local official said initial reports were that two suicide bombers stormed the church, one of whom was shot dead at the entrance of the church.
 
The other suicide bomber blew himself up inside the church, he said. Security and rescue personnel were focusing on getting medical aid to the injured as soon as possible, he added.
 
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
