MEHWAR: Women Collect Signatures for Peace

The Women's Coalition for Peace and Equality for Peace and Democracy say that 15,000 women across the country are calling for peace in the country by signing on a white cloth.

These women call on the international community, especially the United States, to live up to its commitment to human rights and the fight against terrorism in Afghanistan, and to not leave the country irresponsibly.
