MEWHAR: Reopen of Crossings Discussed
The Nangarhar governor's spokesman, Attaullah Khogyani, said that Torkham crossing has opened to allow Afghan goods into Pakistan on Monday morning.
“As a result of efforts by the central government and the Afghan ambassador to Pakistan, the routes are opened and fortunately the first shipment crossed at Torkham at 10:00 am,” said Nasrullah Sahibzada, Nangarhar's custom director.
On Monday the Pakistan embassy confirmed for TOLOnews that Torkham, Spin Boldak and Ghulam Khan crossings are open for Afghan exports.
