Coronavirus Program: 413 New COVID-19 Cases in Afghanistan

The Afghan Ministry of Public Health announced on Thursday that 413 new coronavirus cases were reported in Afghanistan in the past 24 hours, bringing the total to 5,639.

The new cases have been reported in Kabul (188), Kandahar (34), Ghazni (35), Nangarhar (30), Balkh (24), Baghlan (25), Samangan (20), Paktia (15), Wardak (9), Logar (7), Nimruz (5), Laghman (5), Panjshir (2), Faryab (1), Zabul (3), Paktika (4), Sar-e-Pul (5) and Nuristan (1).

Kabul is still one of the worst hotspots for COVID-19-- in the past 24 hours out 188 out of 441 cases were positive.
