CORONAVIRUS PROGRAM: Cases in Afghanistan Over 3,000
Wahid Majroh, deputy minister of public health, on Wednesday said that in the past 24 hours 168 positive cases have been recorded across the country, and the country total is 3,392.
The 168 new coronavirus cases were reported in Kabul (67), Herat (32), Kandahar (14), Balkh (4), Paktia (4), Nangarhar (11), Logar (8), Laghman (9), Helmand (1), Samangan (1), Baghlan (4), Faryab (9), Kunar (2), Sar-e-Pul (1) and Nuristan (1).
He said that in the past 24 hours there have been nine deaths and 31 recoveries.
The total number of reported recoveries in the country is 458, and total deaths is 104.
So far, 13,777 people have been tested, according to the ministry.
