The Afghan parliament is expected to dispatch a team to Maidan Wardak province to probe recent clashes between the local people and the Kochis (nomads) in the central province of the country, a number of lawmakers in the nation’s parliament said on Wednesday as violence continues to take lives of Afghans on multiple fronts.

Emotions ran high on Wednesday inside the parliament with some lawmakers engaged in physical and verbal fights during a heated debate about the recent battles in the province.

Ex-National Security Adviser John Bolton’s book officially came out on Tuesday after passing a security review and a legal challenge from the US Justice Department.

On Saturday, a US federal judge ruled that Simon & Schuster, a unit of ViacomCBS Inc., could publish the book despite criticism from the Trump administration.
