Pakistan’s Prime Minister Imran Khan at an event in Islamabad on Monday said his government will make utmost efforts to ensure that there is reduction in violence and ceasefire in Afghanistan as Afghan are suffering from the war every day.

In reaction to the killing of a senior al-Qaeda leader Husam Abdul Rauf, known as Abu Mohsen al-Misri, Afghan Army’s Chief of Staff Yasin Zia said the Taliban is yet to cut their ties with al-Qaeda and other terrorist organizations.
