Logar residents claimed that four children were killed in a mortar attack in Baraki Barak district of the province on Tuesday afternoon.

The residents held a protest outside the Logar governor’s office, carrying the bodies of the four children, and said the origin of the attack should be made clear.

The Afghan all-girls robotics team, which has attended many international events, recently held its own event in Herat showcasing robots designed by the team.

One robot, named “Aswa,” can be used in transferring heavyweights in factories.

Javad Zarif, Iran’s foreign minister, on Monday on the sidelines of the Heart of Asia - Istanbul Process conference, called on the warring parties in Afghanistan to come together and end the war, Turkey’s Anadolu Agency reported.

“The endgame in Afghanistan is to be determined by all Afghans themselves, including the Taliban and Afghan government. All Afghan forces [should] come together, without external interference, and decide about the future of their country,” Zarif told Anadolu Agency.
