The war is not the solution to the ongoing conflict in Afghanistan, Chief Executive Abdullah Abdullah said on Tuesday, as senior negotiators from the US and the Taliban continue the talks in Doha, Qatar aimed at finding a political settlement to the war that has claimed thousands of Afghan lives, both military and civilian.
