APL: De Spinghar Bazan Defeats Mawjhai Amu 1-0

The De Spinghar Bazan football club defeated Mawjhai Amu 1-0 in the third match of The 9th season of the Afghan Premier League (APL), which was held on Monday evening.

The win brought three points for the De Spinghar Bazar in the league standings.

Mawjhai Amu’s Farshid Wojody scored the first and only goal against De Spinghar Bazan and rallied the team’s fans.

In the second half of the match, De Spinghar Bazan played aggressively to even the score, but their efforts did not succeed.

In the second half, Mawjhai Amu received several opportunities to score a goal, but didn’t manage it.

In the 60th minute of the game, De Spinghar Bazan was close to scoring a second goal, but the Mawjhai Amu goalkeeper defended well and the attempt by the rival team was thwarted.

In the 65th minute, Sher Ali, the captain of De Spinghar Bazan was awarded the red card and sent off the field.

APL was launched eight years ago, and each season begins with regional selection tournaments in different zones of the country and culminates with eighteen national league matches in Kabul.

This year the league matches will continue until October 16.

Shaheen Asmayee, De Maiwand Atalan, Toofan Harirod, Simorgh Alborz, Mawjhai Amu, De Spinghar Bazan, De Abasin Sape, and Oqaban Hindukosh are the eight APL teams representing all 34 provinces of Afghanistan.

Last year, Toofan Harirod from the west zone won the league title. Toofan Harirod has won the title three times.
