APL: Toofan Harirod Defeats Mawjhai Amu 4-1

The last year’s champion Toofan Harirod defeated Mawjhai Amu football club in the fifth match of the Afghan Premier League (APL) on Wednesday afternoon. 

The first minutes of the match saw aggressive play by Mawjhai Amu, but Amu but could not score a goal. 

In a corner kick in the first half, Toofan Harirod scored their first goal. The second goal was scored by Toofan’s Maroof Mohammadi with a penalty kick. 

The third goal of Toofan Harirod was scored by Khalil Rahman in the 23rd minute of the match. 

Amu made many attempts to come back, but they could not score a goal. 

The second half once again started with attacks and counterattacks by the two teams. Toofan’s Khalil Ahmad Ahmadi scored the fourth goal of the match 53 minutes in.

Mawjhai Amu made one goal at the 67th-minute, with a long kick.

The next match will be held on Thursday afternoon between Shaheen Asmaee and Oqaban Hindukush.
