Team Ghor entered the semifinals of the Women’s Football League after defeating the Balkh football club 1-0 on Saturday’s match. 

The only goal of the match was scored by Raihana Ayubi of Ghor in the last minutes of the second half and helped her team to join the top four teams in the semifinals.

In their next match, Ghor will play against Kabul to battle for entering the final of the league.

Ghor captain said they are fully ready to win the title. 

“I am so excited to win this match,” said Fahima Jami, a member of Ghor football club, who was named as best player of the match. “Ghor will win the title.”

The next match of the league will be held on Sunday between Herat and Jawzjan teams.
