Team Kabul entered the semifinals of the Women’s Football League after defeating Ghor 2-1 in Monday's match.

Ghor had already qualified for the semifinals after defeating Balkh 1-0 on Saturday’s match. Kabul will play Bamiyan in the semifinals and Ghor will face Herat. 

Manizha Noori, Kabul’s captain, scored two goals in the match for her team in the 27th and 50th minute of the match. Suhaila Azimi from Ghor scored the only goal for her team in the 14th minute of the match. 

Kabul has four points and is ranked at the top.

“It was a good match… We will try to play well in the semifinals,” said Khursand Yusufzai, the coach of the Kabul women’s football team. 

“We had a tough match because some of our players were out of the game due to injuries. We will try to enter the finals,” said Bahara Samim, a member of Kabul women’s football team. 

Kabul captain Manizha Noori was named best player of the match.
