Mis-e-Ainak Wins Ghazi Amanullah Khan Cricket Tournament

The defending champions Mis-e-Ainak defeated Amo by seven wickets in the final match of the Ghazi Amanullah Khan Regional One Day Cricket Tournament and won the championship for the second year in a row. 

Mis-e-Ainak won the toss and decided to field first. Amo managed to get 260 runs in their 50 overs to set a target of 261 for Mis-e-Ainak.

Amo’s batsmen Abdul Malik made 107 runs, Afsar Zazai 46, AzmatUllah Omarzai 42 and Nangialai Kharotai made 29 runs. 

Mis-e-Ainak bowlers Zia Sharifi, Zahir Khan and Zia Akbar took two wickets each while Haseebullah got one wicket in this match. 

Mis-e-Ainak came down to chase down the total that they managed in only 46.1 overs for the loss of 3 wickets to register the victory by 7 wickets in the final match. 

Mis-e-Ainak’s batsmen Rahmanullah Gurbaz made 128 runs, Rahim Mangal 43, Shahidullah Kamal and Rahmat Shah made 36 and 19 runs respectively. 

Amo bowlers Sharafuddin Ashraf took two wickets and Wafadar Momand got one wicket.

RahmanUllah Gurbaz was selected as man of the match for his captain innings of 128. 

Amo skipper was selected player of the tournament for his 253 runs and 3 wickets. 

Meanwhile, Rahmat Shah best batsman of the tournament for his 257 runs, Zahir Khan was selected as best bowler of the tournament for his 13 wickets and young HaseebUllah was selected as the young emerging player of the tournament for claiming 10 scalps throughout the tournament.
