Afghanistan’s U-17 national women’s football team will face Tajikistan in the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA) Championship in Dushanbe on Monday.
The match starts at 08:15 pm Kabul time.
Afghanistan lost their first match 6-0 to Iran on Saturday.
“It was our first match with Iran, and we were not familiar with their tactics,” said Sumayya Hamas, the coach of the Afghan team. “We hope to get win the next match.”
The tournament started in Dushanbe on June 30 and will end on July 9.
Afghanistan, Tajikistan, Iran, Uzbekistan, and Kyrgyzstan will take part in the tournament.
The CAFA Junior Championship is an international football competition in Central Asia for the member nations of the Central Asian Football Association (CAFA).
