Jama Saidi, a German boxer of Afghan heritage, won a match against French opponent Faoud El Massoudi on Friday night in Berlin, Germany.  

Saidi won the match by unanimous decision.

The match was judged by officials from Russia, Spain and Sweden.

He secured a place in the European Boxing Championship.  

Saidi, 28, has fought a total of 23 boxing matches and has 21 wins and two defeats.
