The Afghanistan national futsal team will face Argentina in their second match of the 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup in Uzbekistan on Wednesday.

The Afghan team beat Angola in its opening game of the World Cup in Tashkent, Uzbekistan.

In the World Cup, Afghanistan’s futsal team is placed in Group C with Argentina, Angola, and Ukraine.

The players view their recent training camps, friendly matches, and participation in the Continental Futsal Tournament in Thailand as valuable preparations for the World Cup.

The 2024 FIFA Futsal World Cup began on September 14 in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, with 24 teams competing across six groups of four teams each.
