Afghanistan's futsal players were eliminated from the World Cup after a 3-1 loss to Paraguay.
The futsal teams of Afghanistan and Paraguay faced each other on Wednesday, where the Paraguayan players advanced to the next stage of the competition.
The Afghan national players started the game aggressively, launching attacks on Paraguay's goal in an attempt to score, and eventually, Hamidreza Hussaini managed to score the first goal of the match in favor of Afghanistan.
After conceding the goal, the Paraguayan players changed their game plan and launched attacks on Afghanistan's goal; however, these attacks were not successful, and the first half ended with Afghanistan leading 1-0.
The second half saw a stronger performance from Paraguay's futsal players, and they quickly equalized, leading to a draw by the end of regular time. In extra time, Paraguay managed to score two more goals against Afghanistan, and the game ultimately ended in a victory for Paraguay.
The Futsal World Cup is being held in Uzbekistan.
