Afghanistan’s under-17 national football team played their first match of the 2025 AFC Asian Cup on Friday night against Yemen in Saudi Arabia and lost 2-0.

The U-17 national team will face South Korea in their second match of the tournament on Monday, April 7.

Afghanistan has been placed in a group with Yemen, Indonesia, and South Korea in this year’s Asian Cup.
The 2025 AFC Asian Cup is being hosted by Saudi Arabia.
