Sharaf Naib, a cricket fan in Kabul, has recreated the ICC Cricket 2019 World Cup trophy replica with grass to show Afghans' grace and enthusiasm to the world famous sport. 
 
Naib said he has also ICC created World Cup trophies from paper and snow. 

Ge said that after he knew about the rumors that the ICC 2019 World Cup trophy will not be brought to Kabul, he decided to create the trophy with grass. 
 
But later in December 2018, the ICC Cricket 2019 World Cup trophy arrived in Kabul as part of its global tour. 
The trophy was welcomed in Kabul by ACB officials, players and cricket fans. The trophy has already toured a number of countries. 
 
“I did not think that I will be famous but now that I have become famous and I will try to reach to my dream and be invited by the ICC,” said Naib. 
 
The 23 years old Naib who is a resident of Kol-e-Hashmat Khan on the outskirts of Kabul said that he made the trophy in three days. 

“Enthusiasm and love that I had to cricket was not only to go to cricket world cup, but I wish to work at Afghanistan Cricket Board and serve my cricket team,” he said.
 
“Naib has lots of love to go to Scotland for the World Cup with the national cricket team and encourage the team there,” said Mohammad Wali Zadran a friend of Naib. 
 
Naib’s friends called on the International Cricket Council (ICC) to put on display Naib’s trophy.

“Naib loves cricket and the grass trophy made by him is a prove for this,” said Rahimullah Ahmadzai, Naib’s friend. 
 
“I am very happy to see Naib is getting famous and is interested to watch the World Cup matches live,” said Naib’s friend. 
 
The 2019 World Cup One Day International (ODI) is the 12th edition of the Cricket World Cup, scheduled to be hosted by England and Wales, from 30 May to 14 July 2019. 
 
Starting its journey from the United Arab Emirates (UAE), the trophy tour will cover Oman, the USA, the West Indies, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, India, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, Kenya, Rwanda, Nigeria, France, Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany before arriving in England and Wales on February 19.
