The final match of the Afghanistan Women's Quadrilateral Football Tournament was held on Thursday in the Football Federation stadium in Kabul.

The final match pitted Kabul against Herat and Kabul was victorious, 1-0.

The goal was made by Tamana in the last quarter.

Women's teams from Balkh, Kabul, Bamyan and Herat provinces participated in the tournament.

Officials at the football federation says that soon after the end of the Football Premier League matches, a women's football league will be launched in Kabul.

The final match of the premier league will be held today between Shaheen Asmayee and Toofan Harirod teams in Kabul.
