Following the prisoner exchange and the delay of the China meeting, the US government and Taliban are considering restarting peace talk in Qatar.

The Taliban’s  political office in Qatar said they wanted to resume peace negotiations where the last attempt left off, but the US has said it wants to start the peace talks from the beginning.

Sources confirmed to Tolonews that both sides are working to prepare themselves for formal peace negotiations.
