The parliament speaker Mir Rahman Rahmani confirmed that most of the members of the Wolesi Jirga have not been attending general sessions. For instance, last Saturday 180 members were absent.

Some members of the Wolesi Jirga say their colleagues are preoccupied with their own businesses and do not attend even general sessions regularly.
