TAWDE KHABARE: China Eyes Mediator Role Between Afghanistan-Pak

China’s Foreign Minister Wang Yi is scheduled to visit Kabul soon where he will meet Afghan officials to discuss ways to improve Afghanistan-Pakistan relations, President Ashraf Ghani’s Office said in a statement late Monday.

A presidential spokesman has said that China is hoping for bilateral and multilateral talks between Afghanistan and Pakistan to move forward.

The Presidential Palace has said that one of the reasons that these talks collapsed is that Pakistan broke its promises.
