Afghanistan’s Independent Election Commission (IEC) announced president Ghani as winner of the presidential election on Tuesday.

Abdullah Abdullah, another presidential candidate, said that he will not accept the announced result and will form his own “inclusive government”.

The Taliban also said that the election process was not a "real election".
