Nations Condemn Israel’s Attack on Iran, US Denies Involvement

Following Israel’s airstrikes on targets in Iran, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, Pakistan, Turkey, Kuwait, Syria, Oman, Malaysia, and several other countries have condemned the attack. The UK prime minister called for an end to escalation.

Countries have described Israel's actions as a blatant violation of Iran’s sovereignty and a breach of the UN Charter.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for the White House National Security Council stated that the United States was not involved in this attack. The British Prime Minister also reacted, calling for an avoidance of escalating tensions in the region and urging Iran to refrain from responding to Israel's attacks.

Keir Starmer, the British Prime Minister, said: "I'm equally clear that we need to avoid further regional escalation and urge all sides to show restraint. Iran should not respond."
At the same time, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate also condemned Israel’s attack on Iran, describing it as an attempt to further intensify violence in the region.

In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate stated: “All influential parties have a responsibility to prevent the Zionist regime from further expanding violence and crimes in the region. Unfortunately, the Zionist regime has not only continued its crimes in Gaza for more than a year but has also expanded them to other areas.”

Former President Hamid Karzai and Abdullah Abdullah, Chairman of the High Council for National Reconciliation in the previous government, also condemned Israel’s attack on Iran’s military centers, calling it a violation of Iran's territory and national sovereignty.

Former President Hamid Karzai said, “I condemn Israel’s attack on the Islamic Republic of Iran, which violates the territory and national sovereignty of our close neighbor and brotherly country. Such attacks contribute to increased tension in the region and pose a threat to international peace and security.”

Abdullah Abdullah also commented on the attack, stating: “While we strongly condemn Israel’s provocative attacks on the Islamic Republic of Iran, we emphasize that Israel's reckless actions not only fuel continued conflict in the region and lead to new military alignments but also have grave consequences for civilians and innocent people in our region.”

Najib Rahman Shamal, a political analyst, told TOLOnews regarding the tensions between Iran and Israel: “This war could have severe negative effects on international relations, including those among major world powers.”

Although Iran has not officially announced any response to Israel’s attack, Iranian officials have previously stressed that they would launch further missile operations in retaliation if Israel attacks Iran.
