Donald Trump, the newly elected US president, in a speech to supporters stated that he will fulfill his promises, especially regarding the prevention of illegal immigration.
He also mentioned ongoing conflicts worldwide, adding that he is not in favor of war and plans to end current wars.
The new US President said: “We’re gonna have to seal-up those borders and we’re gonna let people come into our country. We want people to come back in but they have to come in legally.”
Trump also highlighted building a strong military, saying that he defeated ISIS during his previous term in office.
Trump said “We want a strong and powerful military, and ideally, we don’t have to use it. We had no wars, four years. We had no wars except we defeated ISIS in record time but we had no wars. They said he will start a war — I am not gonna start the war, I’m gonna stop wars, but this is also a massive victory for democracy and for freedom.”
This comes as Donald Trump has been elected as the 47th President of the United States, winning 277 electoral college votes.
