11th Day of Iran-Israel War: Conflict Rages On

Today (Monday, June 23), Iran launched its 21st wave of missile strikes, deploying "Qadr-H" ballistic missiles for the first time to target dozens of positions in Israel.

The Iranian military also reported shooting down an Israeli drone over Khorramabad.

Iman Tajik, spokesperson for the "Promised Truth 3" operation, stated, “In this mission, we used Qadr-H multi warhead ballistic missiles for the first time, utilizing new and surprising tactics for greater precision, destructiveness, and effectiveness.”

On the other side, Israel claimed that its strikes today hit six Iranian airbases and one prison.

Meanwhile, Iran’s defense minister warned of a “decisive response” to the US and Israeli attacks.

Defense Minister Amir Hatami declared, “We fight for victory. We consider martyrdom a great blessing; but at this moment, we are fighting to win.”

Ali Reza Bikdeli, Iran's acting ambassador to Kabul, described the recent US strikes on Iranian nuclear facilities as a “blatant violation of international law,” and emphasized that Iran will respond forcefully, citing the right to self defense.

He stated, “The Islamic Republic of Iran, relying on its right to self-defense with the support of the Iranian nation, the armed forces, and prayers from the Islamic Ummah will fulfil its duty in defending its territorial integrity, protecting Iranian rights, and punishing the aggressor.”

Simultaneously, Russian President Vladimir Putin, in meeting with Iran’s foreign minister in Moscow, called the US strikes “completely unwarranted aggression” against Iran.
He said, "This absolutely unprovoked aggression against Iran has no basis whatsoever and no justification whatsoever."

On the other hand, Japan and Australia, while supporting the US strikes, urged maintaining diplomatic channels to prevent the crisis from escalating.

A spokesperson for Japan's government, Yoshimasa Hayashi, stated: “We understand that the US response this time shows its determination to prevent Iran from acquiring nuclear weapons, while also calling for a quick de-escalation of the situation.”

Finally, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation issued a joint statement condemning Israel’s strikes on Iran, Lebanon, Syria, and Gaza as blatant violations of international law, sovereignty, and security of those nations.
