Pakistani media reported an armed attack followed by explosions on a naval air base in the city of Turbat in Balochistan on Monday. 

A statement attributed to the Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) on social media states that the attack was carried out by their "Majeed Brigade."

Although the Pakistan military has not yet commented on the incident, local security officials in Balochistan have told media that the attack has been repelled.

According to these officials, six attackers were killed, but no information has been provided about casualties among Pakistani forces.

This is the second attack within the last six days targeting Pakistani installations in Balochistan.

On March 20, the "Majeed Brigade" of the BLA attacked Gwadar port in Balochistan, which was repelled by the Pakistani forces, reports said.
