A videotape obtained by TOLOnews from the Kabul Bank surveillance camera shows that a suicide attacker armed with AK-47 shoots to death civilians stuck in the building.

The suicide attacker has been detained by security forces.

The suicide attacker says it was enjoyable to kill people.

Suffering huge casualties in the fight has made the Taliban field commanders unwilling to resume war in Afghanistan, the New York Times reported.

Taliban midlevel commanders are at loggers head with top leadership of the Taliban based in Pakistan to carry out operations in some areas in Afghanistan, Taliban members told the New York Times in interviews.

Last year the Taliban withdrew to border areas in Pakistan after an increase in their fatalities after the arrival of US additional troops in southern parts of the country.

A number of protesting candidates Tuesday rallied in Kabul to criticise parliamentary election vote recount.

Election special tribunal, which was formed by President Karzai to distinguish genuine votes from fake, has recently begun to recount votes under a commission consisted of officials from related organisations.

Vote recounting would not help us reach our goals. The parliament should be terminated, the candidates argued.
