Afghan army's MI-17 helicopter crash landed due to "technical problem" in Hisarak district in eastern Nangarhar province, on Tuesday night, killing two people, including a policeman, and wounding two more, Ministry of Defense (MoD) said in a statement.

The incident happened about 12:00 am local time when the helicopter was taking off in Hisarak, the statement said.

The MoD did not provide further details about the incident.
