Afghan Mixed Martial Arts MMA Fighter Javid Basharat choked out his Israelian opponent Oron Kahlon and succeeded to win the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s (UFC) contract.
After Seyar Bahadorzada and Nasrat Haqparast, Basharat is the third Afghan athlete to receive a UFC contract.

The win advanced Basharat's undefeated pro MMA record to 11 wins (five knockouts and six submissions).
After the victory, Jawid Basharat was commented on by UFC president, Dana White:
"The entire fight he was going for the finish. He destroyed him. He did whatever he wanted to do to him, whenever he wanted to do it."
