The Ministry of Defense is still in the process of making design decisions for a military uniform, the MoD’s spokesman said on Wednesday.

Along with this, Enayatullah Kharazmi, spokesman of the Ministry of Defense, said that in recent months the ministry has prevented the smuggling of some military equipment to neighboring countries.

“Currently, only its color has been determined and the sessions are continuing about its design and size. It has not been finalized yet, and when it is finalized, the implementation process will begin,” said Enayatullah Kharazmi, spokesman of the ministry of defense.

According to Kharazmi, MoD is also working to repair the military equipment left over from the previous government.

“We are trying to repair the existing vehicles and equipment if they are damaged and put them back into operation and use them,” said Enayatullah Kharazmi, spokesman of the Ministry of Defense.

Military experts consider it important for military forces to have uniforms, adding that this will play an important role in reducing crime in the country.

“Military uniforms create a military order and discipline and unity," said Sarwar Niazi, a military expert.

“Having a regular appearance and a regular uniform can represent a disciplined, and well-trained army,” said Hekmatullah Hekmat, a military expert.

So far, nothing has been said about the exact time of the distribution of the new uniform to the forces of the Ministry of Defense, and it remains to be seen when the distribution will begin.
