Obaidullah Aminzada, the governor of Parwan province, said during a gathering in the province's center Charikar that the leader of the Islamic Emirate has abolished the previous constitution and put a strong emphasis on implementing Sharia law.
"Sheikh Sahib wondered why the judges decide on this constitution or what the Attorney General decided based on the previous constitution. He said that the previous administration's constitution had been completely abolished and was defunct. If there is, there is no government. Ashraf Ghani and Hamid Karzai are no longer in office, and their constitution is likewise no longer in effect," he stated.
Speaking to the gathering, Aminzada added that Mawlawi Hebatullah Akhundzada, the leader of the Islamic Emirate, had stated in a recent meeting with the governors of the provinces that comparing the republic administration with an Islamic system is tantamount to saying that pork meat is halal.
He added that the constitution of Zahir Shah’s time will not be implemented.
"Sheikh Sahib said that it is incorrect to implement Zahir Shah's constitution and that there is no difference between the constitutions of the republican administration and Zahir Shah's period. We just want the Sharia system; neither Ashraf Ghani's constitution nor Zahir Shah's are acceptable," he said.
"Supporting this Islamic system is essential and important for us. We appreciate the efforts of the leader of the Islamic Emirate,” said the Parwan Police Commander Azizullah.
Meanwhile, some officials of Parwan province called for the implementation of the orders of the leader of the Islamic Emirate.
"We must not lose our values, we must be loyal to the homeland, we must be committed to Islam, and we must be faithful to the Islamic system, and we must not allow anybody to create a gap among us,” said Mohammad Idris Anwari, a participant and deputy of the governor of the province of Parwan.
